교육은 단순히 지식을 전달하는 일이 아니라, 아이 안에 숨겨진 가능성을 깨워 그 잠재력이 세상을 바꿀 수 있도록 돕는 일이라고 믿습니다.

오랜 시간 외국인학교와 북미 사립학교에서 아이들을 가르치며, 저는 교육의 진정한 가치는 단순한 시험 성적이 아니라, 사고력, 표현력, 자신감, 그리고 공감하는 마음을 함께 길러내는 데 있음을 배웠습니다. 아이들이 스스로 생각하고, 배우고, 성장할 수 있도록 돕는 일이 교육자가 해야 할 가장 본질적인 역할이라는 확신이 생겼습니다.

이런 믿음을 바탕으로 로바토에듀를 시작하게 되었습니다. 아이들이 세상에 적응하는 법을 배우는 곳이 아니라, 세상을 새롭게 바라보고, 변화시킬 수 있는 힘을 배우는 곳을 만들고자 합니다.

‘로바토(ROBATO™)’는 그 철학을 담아 탄생했습니다. 로봇(Robot)의 이성과 루바토(Rubato)의 감성이 만나 기술과 예술, 이성과 감성이 조화를 이루는 존재로 만들어졌습니다. 

감정과 음악이 금지된 세상에서 아이들의 웃음과 노래를 보고 깨어난 로바토는, 지식을 넘어 감성을 배우며 성장하는 ‘배움의 동반자’로서 아이들과 함께 여정을 시작합니다. 아이들이 로바토와 그의 친구들의 이야기를 따라가며 자연스럽게 사고력과 표현력을 배우도록, 그 스토리 안에 우리 커리큘럼을 세심하게 설계했습니다. 

로바토의 세계는 단순한 캐릭터 스토리가 아니라 Reading, Writing, Speech, Debate, Design Thinking, Performing Arts 등 모든 학습이 살아 숨 쉬는 하나의 교육적 세계관입니다. 로바토에듀는 이처럼 스토리텔링과 학습이 결합된 교육을 통해 아이들이 배우는 즐거움을 느끼고, 스스로 사고하며 성장할 수 있는 힘을 길러줍니다.

세상은 더 많은 정보를 가진 사람보다 깊이 생각하고, 따뜻하게 공감할 줄 아는 리더를 필요로 합니다. 로바토에듀는 그런 리더를 길러내는 교육을 만들어갑니다. 배움을 통해 생각이 자라고, 감성이 단단해지고, 그 성장의 여정 속에서 아이들이 스스로 세상을 움직이는 힘을 갖게 되길 바랍니다.

The Founder’s Vision of ROBATO™ EDU

Education, to me, is not about transferring knowledge - it’s about awakening the potential within each child and helping that potential become a force that can change the world.

Through years of teaching in international and North American schools, I learned that the true value of education lies not in test scores, but in nurturing a child’s ability to think critically, communicate confidently, and connect with empathy. Helping children learn how to think, grow, and discover themselves is, I believe, the most essential role of an educator.

With this belief, I founded ROBATO™ EDU - not as a place where children simply adapt to the world,
but as a space where they learn how to see it differently and gain the courage to shape it in their own way.

ROBATO™ was born from this very philosophy. Combining the intelligence of a Robot and the soul of Rubato, ROBATO™ represents the harmony of technology and art, reason and emotion. In our story, ROBATO™ awakens in a world where emotion and music are forbidden - stirred by the laughter and songs of children. He begins a journey of learning, discovering feelings, and finding purpose as a true companion in the pursuit of knowledge and imagination.

We carefully wove our curriculum into the adventures of Robato and his friends, so that children can learn through storytelling that feels alive. In this universe, learning is not a subject - it’s an experience.
Reading, Writing, Speech, Debate, Design Thinking, and Performing Arts are all connected within an educational ecosystem where creativity and expression grow hand in hand.
